The new blog Famous Mexican Artists linked to my post discussing the art work of Frida Kahlo (see below). I like what I see on the blog! At first I was unsure if they planned to discuss Mexican artists other than Frida. It turns out that it won’t be confined to Frida, or Frida and Diego.
I am glad! The world of Mexican art, even considering just the 20th century, is bigger than Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, important as they are. I’m hoping that the blog highlights current Mexican artists at some point, including the folk art found on every corner.
