Over the last week or so the Forgotten Detroit website was inaccessible as it was somehow infected with a Trojan horse. Fortunately, it is back up and running. I’m even optimistic about the future of the now forgotten site. If you take a look at the blog associated with the website, it appears as though the owner of the site is looking to revamp it. Sadly it was left to languish these past six years. He did such a wonderful job of documenting the urban decay that is so much a part of Detroit today.
If the topic is of interest to you at all, I highly recommend reading the Forgotten Detroit: Blog. He makes the case for preserving even the decay and decline. The post below includes my thoughts on the future of Detroit as well as links to additional blog posts in which I discuss the future of the city.
